Season 35 is now airing on BBC Canada.
Sitting on a fortune?
A national and international treasure, Antiques Roadshow has been thrilling the public for more than 30 years, attracting large crowds intent on finding out what their possessions are worth. From the sumptuous to the unusual, the locations visited by the team on their search for the precious heirlooms are as much of a draw as the treasures they might find. This series visits the enchanting ruins of fountains Abbey, destroyed in the dissolution of the monasteries by King Henry VIII and Chepstow racecourse, home of the Welsh national race. In addition, a one-off Shakespeare special features Charlecote Park just outside Stratford on Avon where legend has it a young Shakespeare was caught poaching deer.
